| Team Rooms are available. Email Info@2008ChessCongress.com for details. Concessions will be available onsite. Also note that numerous restaurants are located within 1 mile of the playing site. A book vendor will also be available onsite for opportunities to buy chess sets, clocks, and other chess merchandise. Chess sets will be provided for tournament games only. Clocks will not be provided. Please note a couple changes from last year: Players may "play up" in a higher section than their age group. Club teams will again be allowed in accordance with USCF Scholastic Regulations. The playing room will be restricted for the first 15 minutes of play during the first 2 rounds. Further restrictions to spectators will be at the discretion of the Chief Tournament Director. |
